Der Fischer, seine Frau und ein Butt · Pasticcio nach Mozart und Zeitgenossen

The Low German tale of the fisherman, his wife and the flounder that grants wishes — as an opera for children. Nils Braun and Amelie Mohr assembled a continuous evening from music by Mozart and the composers of his time; Amelie Mohr wrote a new German libretto after the Brothers Grimm.

The premiere took place on 2 and 3 September 2023 at ZUKUNFT.unternehmen, with a further performance in December. In June 2024 the piece returned at the culture weekend on Haarenstraße — open air and free of charge, alternating with “Der Hundesalon”.
