A crime opera in Low German: Milan Schomber’s libretto and Raphael Fusco’s score put the region’s own language on an opera stage where it had never been heard that way. The Detmolder Kammerorchester played; the Kulturetage Oldenburg was the young association’s first venue.
With this production Forum neue Kunst became a producing organisation — and the preview evening of 30 October 2021, which KDO made possible with 450 tickets, its founding moment.
